The Glasgow district of Maryhill has launched a competition to design a community flag representing the unique character of this proud part of the city.
Individuals, schools and community groups can all create proposals for a ‘Flag for Maryhill’.
The winning flag will be free to use and available to all.

You can also collect a pack in person from Maryhill Burgh Halls from Monday 31 August 2020.
A panel including celebrity guest judges Janey Godley and Jane McCarry, as well as representatives from the Flag Institute and the Lyon Court, will assess the submissions and draw up a final shortlist.
A public vote will then decide the winning flag.
