Charles Ashburner (Flag Institute Chief Executive), Helen Edwards (DCLG Director General), and Graham Bartram (Chief Vexillologist, Flag Institute) hold the North Riding flag.
Today at the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) the Flag Institute launched its latest flag guide, Creating Local & Community Flags, which aims to help communities design their own flags or organise a competition to design one.
