Notes: | The Guernsey Flag is the national flag of the Bailiwick of Guernsey. This self-governing possession of the British Crown comprises the four Channel Islands of Guernsey, Alderney, Sark and Herm. The flag is a simple Cross of St George with a superimposed gold Norman cross. The golden cross represents that shown on the banner of William the Conqueror, which appears on the Bayeux Tapestry .
