Parliament Square flags

The flags of the Crown Dependencies and Overseas Territories flying in Parliament Square on the occasion of the State Visit of the President of Indonesia. This is the first time these flags have ever been flown as a coordinated group in the United Kingdom and a stirring sight they are. 21 flags were flown with the Union Flag appearing twice to represent the two Sovereign Base Areas of Cyprus and also Ascension Island whose flag is designed but has yet to achieve final approval. These flags will fly again on future State Visits. The Flag Institute believes they should fly permanently to demonstrate the full extent of the realms and territories of Britain beyond the seas.

In view of the Coronavirus outbreak, should we be flying the relevant flags on the Queens Birthday and St Georges Day ?
